I popped in last night, and it turned into one of those visits where you think you’ll stay for “one drink,” and suddenly you’re chatting with the owner, laughing with strangers, and wondering why you haven’t been coming here more often.

From the moment I walked in, the place felt alive. The crowd was a great mix — younger people, older regulars, couples, solo folks just grabbing a beer. The vibe was undeniably local, but not in the “you don’t belong here” way; more like “grab a seat, you’re one of us now.”

The music leaned punk-ish and edgy, but not so loud that you had to scream. Just the right amount of OB attitude.
